A Mighty Wind

A mighty wind blew through our block Friday afternoon. Xy described it as a “mini tornado.” I thought she was being dramatic until I saw the damage myself.

It ripped the gutter on a neighboring house.

It knocked over this portable toilet.

It broke our porch umbrella and deposited it on the neighbor’s roof.

We just bought that umbrella, too. Guess we shouldn’t have left it open when we weren’t using it.

The wind also tore a couple sections of Charles’ fence down, but he repaired it before I could take a picture.
