What's sometimes missing in a lot of the super parades is the neighborhood feel which you get with the smaller and earlier parades. Come to Thoth tomorrow morning (back on their usual route past Children's and the nursing homes on Magazine St.) and escape before Bacchus. On Monday, Orpheus is usually not as crowded as Bacchus and is a very beautiful parade. Costume inspiration usually hits me late..... Please come back for any of the parades. We’ll heat up some soup.
