“We owe it to the people who can’t come back.”

I’m quoted in an article by Roy Bragg for the San Antonio Express News.

One Response to ““We owe it to the people who can’t come back.””

  1. Editor B Says:

Michael Homan pointed out that the quote about the “Third Battle of New Orleans” was actually said by me, though attributed to him!

“The first battle of New Orleans was called the War of 1812,” said Michael Homan, a Xavier University theologian. “The second battle was when they tried to route Interstate 10 through the French Quarter.”

“This one — the third battle — is about visions of how to shape the city.”

Of course I got that notion from Seymour D. Fair, who incidentally is a new father.
